Bamsway, the creative pseudonym of Belgian artist Bram Butsraen (b. 1995), is best known for his unique and intricate black-and-white art, which he brings to life through paintings, ink and pencil drawings, murals, and sculptures.
His imaginative style is instantly recognizable yet difficult to categorize. It’s a fusion of abstract forms he calls “doodles” combined with realistic details.

With more than 100,000 followers across social media, Bamsway has built an international audience captivated by his visual language.
This online success led to his invitation to YouTube’s Biggest Art Collab, the world’s largest collaborative art project among creators, which raised over $100,000 for charity.

Inspired by the sea and the coastal areas where he lives, Bamsway has also placed a strong focus on local projects.
Currently, he’s working on his most ambitious project to date: painting the entire Belgian coastline. This monumental series will consist of 10 large-scale works, each dedicated to a coastal town. While each painting will stand on its own, together they will form one unified artwork representing the full Belgian shoreline.

For his creative ventures, Bamsway works from his art studio in Middelkerke, where he creates, meets with clients, runs his online business and hosts exhibitions.
